Jim Crawford

President

Jim Crawford has been at DCS since 1976 and has been a major force in creating the long-term vision for the company. He designed and built the company’s line of liquid color dispensing equipment, an area that he still focuses on today.

Cindy Nowak

Vice President of Operations

Cindy Nowak has been involved in virtually every facet of DCS’ operations beginning in 1978, having held a wide range of administrative and management positions within the company. Cindy helped develop, install, and maintain the processes central to DCS’ quality, lab, and administrative services. As Vice President of Operations, she oversees all facets of the manufacturing, quality control, and shipping of DCS’ pigments.

Cathy Higgins

Vice President of
Sales & Marketing

Cathy Higgins has been a driving force in customer care and expanding the company’s sales since 1984. She has been an active participant in a number of concrete products trade associations including the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI), the National Concrete Masonry Association in the group’s Manufactured Stone Veneer Division, and the Cast Stone Institute. Cathy has also been active in shaping ASTM standards for color in concrete.

Jimmy Crawford

Vice President of Development

Jimmy Crawford joined DCS in April 2013 and is primarily responsible for the identification and cultivation of future growth markets for DCS. He is actively involved in several trade associations across the industries in which DCS operates. Jimmy handles project management and implementation for all IT projects and DCS’ color dispensing systems. With a graduate degree in information systems, Jimmy brings a fresh perspective to the leadership team.

Tim Nowak

Laboratory/Quality Control Manager

Tim Nowak manages DCS’ laboratory and is charged with overseeing quality control—both raw materials selection and production—and for the company’s final products. Tim has been with the company since ____, beginning in production. Among his many responsibilities, Tim helps customers get the color they are looking for: “I’ve had people bring in everything from a chunk of a building to a paint swatch to try to have us match it.”

Ron Meiszberg has [managed sales?] at DCS for 18 years, after years of experience in the concrete products business. His experience at a large midwestern concrete products company helped him understand the customer’s point of view: “We fill our customers’ needs instead of forcing them to buy off-the-shelf products.”
